There was a time where I rolled into work around 10am on my electric skateboard, grabbing a coffee and sitting at my station along with 2 or 3 other friends. We created electric skateboards by hand, wiring batteries, mounting parts, shaping decks, etc. I was living in Venice Beach at the time and the shop was located in Santa Monica, CA. I was stuck in this bubble for many years. I took advantage of this free time and continued to take classes at Santa Monica College. Using my basic marketing knowledge, along with my hobby of editing home movies, we decided to put together an edit showcasing our product.
