Brainstorming is an important element to ensuring a seamless design process. Discussing the purpose, establishing a common goal, and coming up with a detailed plan, all help to unify the designer with the client’s overall vision.
As a graphic designer who specializes in brand identity, the simple act of thoughtful deliberation, jotting down ideas and sketching out concepts offers the best introduction to serving my clients and discovering what they’re looking for. I find that this part of the process is the most enjoyable, not that I don’t enjoy the entire process; I love what I do. But the act of creative thinking, un-filtered design ideas, and big picture conversation truly gets clients excited about the end result.
